In 2022, Tajikistan''s electricity consumption was predominantly sourced from low-carbon energy, particularly hydropower, which accounted for almost all of the country''s 18.66 TWh of clean electricity.Only a small fraction of electricity, almost 2.22 TWh, was generated from fossil fuels such as coal, with coal representing about 1.89 TWh of this amount.
